Game Description
Hachishaku puts the player in the role of Chado-san, a monk returning to his childhood home after years of absence. He arrives to find the village of NaniNani Mura completely deserted, its inhabitants having fled under mysterious circumstances. His task is to find out the reasons for his own departure to Tokyo as a child and learn about the fate of the locals, including a friend from the past. A towering 8-foot tall spirit known as HachiShaku-sama now roams these lands, actively hunting the monk for his pure energy.
The main character will have to navigate this area, constantly fleeing persecution. Gameplay in Hachishaku focuses on investigation and survival through stealth. You must evade the constant threat of the enemy while exploring the empty settlement in search of clues that explain the mystery. To advance the plot, Chado-san finds and reads diaries and notes left by former residents.
These documents gradually reveal the truth about the history of the village and the events that led to its current desolation. The entire gameplay requires careful movement to avoid direct collisions. The main goal is to find the 5 sacred jizo statues and return them to the shrines. In addition to this task, you can find money scattered around the world. This currency is uniquely used to purchase various costumes, accessories, and new hairstyles for the 8-foot stalker. This game contains explicit nudity and mature themes, and the core of the conflict is the protagonist defending his purity from the spirit’s merciless grasp.
