Game Description

H.A.D.E.S Zero is a survival horror game set in the H.A.D.E.S Charon research facility. The player takes on the role of security agent Nick Smith, forced to survive a catastrophic biotech incident that leads to the collapse of the station. Moving through abandoned corridors and laboratories is a constant search for supplies, as resources are deliberately limited.

Therefore, survival depends on meticulous inventory management and saving every item you find. This environment sets a methodical pace, where every decision has consequences. The gameplay of HADES Zero is based on the use of cinematic fixed cameras, framing what is happening from predetermined angles and limiting the player’s view of immediate threats. Fights with the anomalous inhabitants of the complex are not designed for direct combat; instead, they require a strategic approach due to limited ammunition and healing supplies.

Exploration is a key component, prompting you to search each room for tools, keys, and notes. These items are necessary both to advance through the plot and to reconstruct the picture of events. The narrative is presented in fragments through secret files, personal diaries and corporate notes found on the territory of the installation. These documents gradually reveal the secrets of the Human Advanced and Development Experimental Systems project and the creation of its main subjects, the Proto-Alphas - brutal human-insect hybrids.
