Game Description

Half-Life 2D: Block Mesa is a two-dimensional remake of the original Half-Life. The story also begins with a laboratory where another experiment was to take place. There were no signs of trouble until a powerful explosion occurred right before your eyes. Alien entities have infiltrated from the world of Zen, a military detachment is trying to rectify the situation, but it is becoming more and more difficult every minute. The scientists are torn to shreds, and you miraculously manage to escape.

The main difference between Half-Life 2D: Block Mesa and the original is that the game has changed perspective. Now Halfa has become a cubic side-scroller, which, however, completely repeats all the key elements of the main game. You play as silent protagonist Gordon Freeman. He wears a special suit and uses a huge variety of futuristic weapons, as well as a crowbar, which has become a symbol of the series.

The campaign is divided into 19 chapters. They are shortened versions of the original events and will take a few hours to complete in total. The game features all the enemies from the original game: Headcrabs, Vortigaunts, Houndeyes, Barnacles, Bullsquids, Gonarch, Nihilanth, as well as allied HECU troops and Black Operatives.
