Game Description

Home is a pixel adventure, the plot of which reveals a short but eventful segment in the life of a boy who left his home. This narrative, based on real events, offers to follow the fate of the protagonist, whose new refuge becomes the space under the bridge. His main occupation is street musical performances, during which he encounters unexpected acquaintances. The whole story is presented in a restrained and honest manner, reminiscent in style of a short musical film. The main questions remain the motives for the escape and what awaits the hero at the end of his journey.

The gameplay is a hybrid of visual novel, rhythm arcade and adventure elements. The linear story in Home lasts approximately 2 hours and is enriched with a variety of mini-games.

Gameplay components:

A visual novel is the basis of a narrative, revealing the plot through dialogue and interaction with characters. Rhythm arcade is a street performance mechanic in which you need to press the keys in time to the beat of the music. Adventure elements - exploring locations and searching for objects that influence the development of the story. Musical puzzles are tasks related to selecting melodies and composing your own compositions.

The special atmosphere of the project is created by the original soundtrack, consisting of acoustic compositions. Each tune, from the protagonist’s songs to the hits performed on a makeshift stage, is directly related to the unfolding events, creating a holistic perception.
