Game Description

HOTEL BARCELONA places the player inside a remote structure designed as a trap for American serial killers. The main character is Justine, a new federal marshal whose mind is shared with the maniac Dr. Carnival. Together, the two individuals must eliminate every criminal within the hotel’s walls. Their common goal is to survive this ordeal and get out of the building.

The action in HOTEL BARCELONA takes place in a 2.5D plane, where battles require tactical maneuvers and well-timed attacks. The environment is modeled after American horror films of the 1980s and is fraught with many dangers. Every time a character dies, a Slasher Phantom is created - an echo of a past life. These phantoms repeat the exact movements from the previous run, and their actions can cause damage to enemies, acting as bait or allies in subsequent attempts. Combat activity results in the hero becoming covered in blood, a substance that directly feeds the force mechanics. An aggressive fighting style fills the Skull Gauge, and once the meter reaches its maximum, Carnival Awakening can be activated.
