Game Description
HYKE: Northern Light(s) follows the young witch HYKE as she searches for her mother in a world ravaged by a long-ago war. Following in the footsteps of her mother, she finds herself in the unexplored Forbidden Lands. This dangerous territory is guarded by the guardian witches Meteos. Meeting them becomes a turning point in the heroine’s fate, forcing her to confront the legacy of the conflict between humans and magical creatures, as well as her family’s role in these events.
The gameplay in HYKE: Northern Light(s) is based on managing a squad of dissimilar heroes. Players will have to complete levels and participate in PvE battles from a top-down view. This game features 7 characters with unique abilities that allow them to use different tactics to overcome obstacles. Progressing through the story requires constantly switching between team members to play to their strengths in encounters, opening up many options for clearing locations and defeating opponents.
What awaits travelers in the Forbidden Lands:
A journey through a war-torn world in search of answers to family secrets. Control a squad of seven unique characters with different fighting styles. Setting up a camp that serves as a refuge for rest and preparation for forays. Creating dishes that provide tactical advantages and boosts before battle.
In between forays into hostile lands, the squad returns to their personal camp. This location serves as a central hub for relaxation and gathering. Here the heroes put their equipment in order and arrange their lives. The main activity in the camp is cooking, because cooked food gives useful boosts needed in the next stage. This cycle of research and quiet directly links action planning to effectiveness in the field.
