Game Description

HYPERBEAT is a rhythmic adventure in which the armored HYPERKNIGHT races through surreal interdimensional tunnels. Players must navigate their way through neon mazes, where every note of the original electronic soundtrack dictates the action. Instead of a static environment, the character plunges into an endless dream, reminiscent of a dynamic tube, dodging obstacles and tracking light paths.

Progressing through this world unlocks cosmetic items and a variety of palettes that allow you to fine-tune your turquoise knight’s appearance. The gameplay is tied to precise and timely interaction with musical notes flying towards you. Each of them represents a signal for a specific maneuver: a slashing blow, sliding along a trajectory, or dodging. HYPERBEAT developers Alice Bottineau and Chancellor Wallin have created levels inspired by the aesthetics of the jungle and rave parties, where you must master your chosen weapon.

The difficulty can be flexibly adjusted, making the project accessible to both beginners looking for a relaxing experience and genre veterans craving extreme speeds and challenges. The main task comes down to passing the tracks to energetic compositions created specifically for this title. The character moves inside a dark tunnel space, where, against the backdrop of cheerful chiptune music, it is necessary to hit targets. This process requires extreme concentration from the gamer, since chaotic moments in the songs are accompanied by acceleration and an increasing stream of multi-colored notes flying directly at the hero.
