Hypogea plunges into the depths of an abandoned underground megastructure, where a lone automaton awakens. The visual design, inspired by early 2000s graphics, creates a unique atmosphere of mystery and desolation that permeates every winding corridor and echoing hall of this gigantic complex. The storyline unfolds without a single dialogue, inviting you to piece together a mosaic of the past from scattered environmental clues and environmental details. The main task of the protagonist is to find a way to freedom, but his mission does not end there. Along the way, he will have to help other mechanical inhabitants, reactivating the long-abandoned and intricate mechanisms of the structure.

The central element of the gameplay is a multi-functional staff with a hook, which serves as the only tool for navigation and survival. It is with its help that acrobatic movement through vertically oriented levels is carried out. Hypogea’s gameplay requires fine-tuning skills to solve spatial puzzles where you need to combine different abilities of the staff. Success in this adventure depends on your ability to accurately time your jumps and effectively use your environment to overcome increasingly difficult obstacles on your way out of this mechanized maze.

Ways to use the universal staff:

Overcoming wide gaps using pole vaults. Using a grappling hook to swing on ledges. Climb vertical surfaces to access new areas. Emergency grip on objects to prevent falls.
