IDILI

IDILI is a first-person survival horror game where the main goal is to uncover one of Sardinia’s darkest secrets. John and his companion Ellie’s initial journey, intended to be an immersion in the island’s vibrant culture, is suddenly interrupted. The main character finds himself completely alone on the territory of the ominous archaeological park Nurage Is Paras. Frightened and isolated, he is determined to find Ellie, which becomes the central plot objective. Confronting the oppressive atmosphere and ancient evil will require incredible stamina and ingenuity from him, because every step could be his last.

Archaeological Park Nurage Is Paras is the starting location for research. Nurag Is Paras is one of the ancient complexes in the park. Nurag Asusa is the second key point on the route of Ellie’s search. The necropolis of Is Tanas de Mreksani is a recreated complex of tombs. Domus de Janas burials are authentic objects for study. Sardinian folklore is the basis for the atmosphere and level design.

The exploration process will force the protagonist to visit several meticulously recreated historical locations. The search route runs through the nuraghes of Is Paras and Asusa, as well as the complex of tombs of Domus de Janas Is Tanas de Mreksani. While these locations have been adapted to suit gameplay needs, their authenticity and cultural significance have been preserved with utmost precision. Thus, in IDILI, the study of ancient monuments becomes an inseparable part of the frightening narrative, where Sardinian folklore is closely intertwined with fiction to create a unique and memorable atmosphere of total horror.
