Knights of the Chalice 2

Knights of the Chalice 2 immerses users in a fantasy world where they can assemble a squad of 6 adventurers. The heroes are forced to explore dark dungeons, fighting against monsters. The gameplay is made in the form of old-school role-playing adventure games with a top-down view, where you need to give instructions to characters on an isometric map. The rules are based on the tabletop role-playing game Dungeon & Dragons 3.5. Players will be able to play through the story campaign or try out the module editor mode to create their own adventures.

The story in KotC 2 Augury of Chaos tells about adventurers who arrive in a village called Finchbury and go to explore the sewers under the settlement. During the passage, users will be able to recruit 8 new allies, as well as encounter cultists from the Circle of the Black Rose. The main task will be to recapture the Gligold Fortress from the forces of evil that are attacking the kingdom. Battles take place in a turn-based mode, where it is necessary to develop tactical maneuvers.

The protagonists will be able to interact with each other, performing combinations of actions, strikes and techniques (feints, bull rush, splitting, grabbing, sweeping, disarming, etc.). In battles you will be able to use more than 700 spells and psionic abilities, which depend directly on the character’s class. The game has 22 specializations for warriors, 10 races (36 subraces), about 500 skills, 41 cleric domains, 71 enchantments for weapons and 51 magical enhancements for shields and armor. There is also the crafting of equipment that can be cast with the enchantments “Vorpal”, “Drain Life”, “Wound”, “Quick”, “Dispel” or “Burning Blast”.

Players will have to complete many quests, interact with minor NPCs and solve puzzles. Before starting the journey, you will have to create a unique build for the hero, and then set out to explore the citadel of King Valdrek. You will have to face various trials, finding yourself under water, at the mouth of volcanoes, or in poisonous Death Traps set up by your opponents. Adventurers can be upgraded to level 21 by choosing the desired branch of development for combat skills.
