Game Description
Lake is a humorous open world adventure game. You need to play as a girl, Meredith Weiss, who decides to take a vacation and go to her hometown. At the same time, she volunteers to help her father with his work, replacing him for some time at the postal company. Once ready, she heads to Providence Oaks, Oregon, where a stunning lake and many locals await her.
The events of the game take place in 1986. During her two weeks on vacation, she meets many familiar people, but at the same time meets new faces. Lake’s gameplay provides an individual approach to each person: who to make friends with, who to talk to, or who to start a romantic relationship with. At the end of the adventure, the heroine has a choice: stay here forever or return back to the big city, where a career awaits her.
The town offers you to experience the whole atmosphere of the province, without the fuss and constant calls of a mobile phone. You can take your dad’s mail truck and drive along the beautiful big lake. Each character in the game has their own stories, personalities, and quirks. The gameplay allows you to choose a variety of activities: chatting with friends, helping neighbors or reading books, etc. Each player himself determines the development of the story, where there are no right or wrong actions.
