Game Description

Late Hours is a first-person psychological horror game in which the routine duties of a 24-hour diner employee become the backdrop for the escalating horror. The basis of the gameplay is an imitation of work processes in an establishment called Greasez’s. The protagonist, either Dylan or Rachel, has to perform standard tasks, but this monotonous activity gradually gives way to oppressive tension. The feeling of someone else’s presence and a series of terrible events turn ordinary duty into a real struggle for survival, where the end of the shift may never come.

In parallel with his work responsibilities, the hero’s personal drama develops, associated with a falling apart relationship. The storyline of Late Hours is not built on jump scares, but on an atmosphere of pure fear and the consequences of decisions made. Interaction with a partner occurs through text messages, and the selected response options directly affect the outcome of this conflict.

Plot branches and options for the ending of the story:

The appearance of a masked killer - his motives are closely intertwined with the history of the diner. A dead-end job symbolizes the dead end in life in which the protagonist finds himself. The telephone dialogue system determines the outcome of the hero’s personal relationships. Non-linear narrative - the character’s actions lead to one of several endings.
