First of all, he needs to recruit the right and smart team that will allow him to advance in the political arena, both among parliament and among the people who carefully elect a candidate. And to do this, you need to take into account a lot of complex factors such as GDP, population growth, the relationship between taxes and the minimum wage, etc. At the same time, support from large world states remains important. If it is beneficial for them to bring the protagonist to the main post, then they can help him with this.
