Game Description
Legend of Heroes: Three Kingdoms places the player in a historical period as the only participant with multiple paths available. The gamer can choose the role of a ruler, a subordinate commander, or an independent mercenary operating in the world. The project features 3 different types of conflicts: large-scale legion battles take place in real time, while individual combat duels and verbal debates use a turn-based card system.
Performance in these areas is related to the character’s military, combat, and intellectual soul attributes, which develop over the course of gameplay. The path you choose determines your goals in Legend of Heroes: Three Kingdoms. The ruler controls cities, sets policies to manage economic stability, funds military recruitment, and wages war to capture territory. A military leader in the service of a lord accumulates merit and influence to rise in rank from junior officer to city prefect and eventually to commander of a legion controlling several cities.
An independent warlord can create private military forces and enter into mercenary contracts with existing factions, leading his troops into conflicts to influence the outcome of wars. Social interaction is a central mechanic that allows you to form bonds with any other commander in the game. Building relationships provides access to special training, allows characters to join the gamer in tasks and provide assistance in battles. When the relationship reaches a certain level, the option of engagement or marriage becomes available, which includes that character in a personal faction.
