Game Description
LootMage sends the adventurer into procedurally generated dungeons to survive unequal battles. The main task is to explore constantly changing levels from a top-down view, while dodging the relentless attacks of your opponents. Battles require constant movement to evade heavy fire while using magical abilities against enemies. Each descent into the labyrinth offers a new layout of rooms and placement of enemies, requiring tactical flexibility from the gamer. Survival depends on your ability to reach the final chamber, with each attempt starting over again.
The combat style in the LootMage action game is determined by the equipment found in the dungeon. The hero can find magic staves, heavy swords and magic spheres, as well as many passive artifacts. Each such artifact contains two different magical essences; Collecting a set of 2, 4 or 6 items with the same essence will activate a special synergy effect. This system allows you to create unique combinations depending on the luck and choice of the player. Different types of projectiles can be combined, further customizing the character’s attack potential.
Defeat in a dungeon results in the loss of all current equipment and forces you to start over. However, some of the achievements are retained between attempts. A special device, the Gauntlet, uses collected Mana Stones to activate Arcs that improve or change combat skills for future game sessions. Such a system of permanent development lays the foundation for power that grows over time. Ultimately, success in this game depends on a combination of random finds in the current run and constant power-ups unlocked in previous runs.
