Game Description

Lost Technology is a real-time strategy simulation involving over 100 characters from 12 factions fighting for control of territories. The player’s initial choice of faction determines the specific events and dialogue that unfold throughout the campaign. The world of this project is defined by eternal enmity - a state of conflict that does not allow any nation to survive for more than 50 years.

The true history of mankind, including advanced technology, has been erased or altered by the victors who rewrite events for their own purposes, be it in the name of justice, earth or greed. Lost Technology’s gameplay follows a structure of three alternating phases that advance conflict. The first phase provides a turn-based strategy map for recruiting standard units and powerful followers, gathering armies, and managing diplomacy with other powers.

After this preparation, the second phase initiates real-time battles, where the outcome of the conflict is decided by the command of the army, the formation of units and the use of terrain. The third phase introduces story events triggered by special game circumstances; decisions made in these scenarios directly affect strategic development and interaction between factions. The setting features a world reminiscent of the fantasy Middle Ages, but containing the remnants of a civilization that once had scientific advances beyond modern understanding. This technological regression is a direct consequence of the incessant battles that have consumed the lands for generations.
