Game Description Macabre plunges a squad of one to four into an unstable Rift with constantly changing maps and objectives. The key task is to find rare resources and stabilize the location before it is destroyed. The area is patrolled by a smart monster that adapts to the actions of gamers and forces them to constantly improvise. Survival depends on stealth and cunning, because outwitting this creature is the only chance, since open combat is impossible. To succeed in Macabre, you will have to understand the intricacies of teamwork, choosing between cooperation and betrayal. A joint escape guarantees the salvation of the entire group, but the betrayal of partners promises more personal loot. Successful evacuation is a prerequisite for preserving the found items, because in the event of death, everything acquired during the sortie is lost. Help is provided by an eccentric survivor named Banjo, who offers equipment and upgrades in exchange for resources to increase the chances of success. The enemy remembers repeated actions, making the usual tactics useless over time. This kind of gameplay forces you to resort to distractions, stunning, and even self-sacrifice as the only ways to escape. During your forays you can find powerful artifacts and unusual items from distorted timelines. Such equipment helps to reveal important information, distract the monster, or simply hold out long enough to find a way out in the unpredictable and randomly generated locations of the new Rift.
