Game Description

Majogami is a fast-paced 2D adventure in which players hack their way through a nightmarish world using unique abilities for instant movement and attacks. The main character, armed with the Kamikiri katana, is able to quickly close the distance with enemies, cutting them into pieces thanks to the Setsuna mechanics. The same ability is used to overcome obstacles and evade enemy attacks, turning every collision into a swift dance of blades. The heroine will be confronted by powerful witches known as Majogami, who hold the bizarre reality in their power.

The events take place in Orchesgra, a world of illusions made in the dark style of paper art. This world is ruled by Craft Witches, whose twisted desires and powerful magic gave birth to all its inhabitants and dangers. The journey of a young swordswoman named Shiroha aims not only to escape from this captivity, but also to restore lost memories. She is accompanied on this difficult journey by Shiori, her father, transformed into a piece of paper, who provides support with the help of protective symbols. The gameplay of Majogami is closely related to the gradual revelation of the past of the protagonist and her companion.

Speed and a sharp blade alone are not enough to survive in Orchesgra. Meeting guardians called Astrals along the way, Shiroha gains the ability to transform into new combat forms, which significantly expands her arsenal of techniques. By defeating the Craft Witches, she not only gets closer to freedom, but also collects special Recarte cards that contain fragments of her past. It is through defeating these powerful creatures and restoring memory that the story of the relationship between father and daughter, trapped in a paper nightmare, is revealed.
