Make Good Choices puts gamers in the awkward position of having to solve an unnervingly simple task: getting home. What seems like a simple journey down a quiet street quickly turns into an intense task of survival. Each step along the way presents a new set of obstacles, often unexpected, forcing gamers to constantly evaluate their choices. Although the story is based on a walk down a single street, the tension that builds throughout the game is palpable as a seemingly mundane environment turns into something much more sinister.

The simplicity of the environment creates an atmosphere of anxiety, because users are never sure what is hiding around the corner. At Make Good Choices, every decision matters. The title is built as a walking simulator, which, at first glance, may seem frivolous. However, gamers soon discover that the lack of save points adds a layer of pressure that makes the stakes high. One wrong choice can send the user back to the beginning or, even worse, lead to a much more dangerous outcome.

This mechanic reinforces the idea that there is no room for mistakes, and every decision is of great importance to the user’s progress. Gamers must navigate locations carefully, thinking ahead, facing the unknown. The duration is variable, usually lasting from 15 to 60 minutes.
