Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 can be played online with a friend for free by teaming up to complete the campaign online online. The gameplay is a superhero action game based on the Civil War comic book series. Multiplayer allows up to four players to team up to take on Victor Von Doom, the iconic Marvel villain from the Fantastic Four franchise.

The plot starts from Castle Duma in Latveria. Nick Fury assembles a team of Iron Man, Captain America and other heroes to carry out Operation Secret War. However, they get involved in a confrontation with the army of the Lords of Evil led by Reckless. The organization protects Doom and prevents the protagonists from carrying out their plans.
