Game Description

Midnight Girl is a point-and-click adventure. The game takes place in France in the mid-1960s. Its history, atmosphere and stylistic decisions originate in the city of Paris, and are also influenced by Belgian comics and cinema of the sixties. Gamers are immersed in this narrative primarily through investigation and exploration of the environment within a 2D side-scrolling perspective.

Midnight Girl is available for single player playthrough on mobile platforms, computers and console systems. The narrative follows Monique, characterized as a tomboyish teenager, operating as a housewife thief in Paris. After a robbery gone wrong, she ends up in prison. In prison, Monique meets another inmate, described as mysterious, leading to their escape from captivity together. They subsequently enter into an agreement to attempt a grand theft targeting a valuable diamond. This decision initiates the main quest in the title.

Their pursuit takes the protagonists through a variety of locations, including a Catholic monastery, underground in a Paris metro station, and into the Catacombs. The gameplay integrates mechanics associated with stealth operations that require careful movement. Players will also make discoveries through exploration of the detailed environments presented. Puzzle solving represents another major component needed to progress through the obstacles and story points of this adventure.
