Million Depth offers a unique tactical experience where survival is directly dependent on the ability to manage time. The main character, Moma, has a device known as a biotope jammer, which allows her to completely freeze a moment while she herself remains motionless. This mechanic becomes the basis of the combat system: dangerous creatures hiding in the shadows of dungeons make their move only after the actions of the protagonist. Battles become an intense puzzle that requires careful planning of every move, especially when equipment wears out and breaks, leaving the girl defenseless in the face of the threat.
Moma’s journey is a descent into an abyss a million stories deep on a fallen Earth. Her goal is to find her friend, following barely noticeable traces of a former civilization. However, the world of Million Depth is constantly changing, subject to the laws of parallel realities and time loops. The story takes place in three different eras, covering the present, events a hundred years ago and the distant future a thousand years from now. Decisions made in the past irreversibly shape future events, creating new branches of the narrative and changing the fate of the heroine herself.
Creativity becomes the main weapon in this unpredictable world. The gameplay allows you to create your own equipment, combining various blocks to construct both long-range weapons and durable shields. The economic system is also different from the usual one: instead of money, barter flourishes here. You’ll have to bargain with local shopkeepers, taking into account their mood and the constantly fluctuating cost of a strange resource called stockinum, in order to make profitable deals. Each playthrough reveals new pieces of the global mystery, turning exploration of the depths into a large-scale adventure.
