Monument Valley 2 is an isometric adventure and puzzle game. What is posted here is not the original version, but a re-release called Panoramic Edition. It contains all previously released additional content. The project was initially released on mobile devices. When transferring the title to PC, the developers adapted the controls. They also added support for ultra-wide monitors and improved the visual component, which can now be admired in Full HD. The sequel differs from the first part with improved graphics, new locations and riddles, and more varied gameplay. The main difference is that there are two playable characters, rather than one, as was the case before. The passage takes on average about 5 hours.
To understand the plot in the Monument Valley 2 project, it is not necessary to first go through the original. The sequel features new protagonists. It tells the story of a woman named Ro and her daughter. As you progress, the child matures. These characters travel together, but sometimes they have to separate. In the game you need to run on surfaces that can change. For example: the ceiling can become the floor, and vice versa. The video game allows you to activate switches and pull levers to move different mechanisms. The gameplay itself is meditative and relaxing. The design of locations changes depending on the mood of the main characters. For example, during moments of anxious separation between mother and daughter, the levels become monochrome.
