Game Description
Mushihimesama is set in a wild and unspoiled world with vast desert areas gradually turning into dense forests. Kozuyu’s arthropods, insect beasts, live here. Once they die, vegetation grows around the area where they die, creating a natural cycle of life and death. This race has the vital force of Levi-Sense, which turned out to be incredibly poisonous for people and was called miasma.
Only a few inhabited areas were allowed to live, but in exchange for a little 15-year-old girl every 200 years. Ryoko is the daughter of a royal family and received a mysterious gift from a boy, making her the next one to be given away. When she turns 15, a miasma hits the village. To save her state, she returns to the Shinju Forest with the help of the golden beetle Koju Kiniro, with whom she has a telepathic connection. The heroine wants to get to God himself in order to prevent the death of her settlement.
The player will explore a fantasy world, fight against numerous giant bugs to progress through 5 stages: a burning desert, dense forests and a serene cave. The gameplay includes several modes: Arcade, Beginner, Arrange and Endless. The user is able to use 3 types of weapons and secondary options to kill enemies in the levels.
