The main goal in My Card Is Better Than Your Card! — become the main duelist on the site, collecting unique decks. Gamers design cards using stickers from a catalog of over 200 options, each with its own effect. Combining multiple stickers unlocks multi-level tactics, but increases the cost of the card played. This collection of personal creations is used to challenge opponents in the neighborhood.
Turn-based battles in My Card Is Better Than Your Card! are played on the principle of tug of war, forcing players to fight for the initiative. Instead of depleting your health, the cards give you superiority over your opponent, and the FEVER multiplier allows you to turn the tide of the fight. Each playthrough features a sequence of 10 unique enemies and ends with a fight against one of 3 bosses. At the beginning of the race, the player chooses one of 10 starting decks, adapting tactics to find fresh combinations.
In between fights, various activities provide access to resources to improve your selection. Activities include a sticker treasure hunt, testing your luck at the vending machine with new items, or trying to get one of the 40 toys in the claw machine. Collected trophies combine perfectly with the created maps, adding a new layer for tactical decisions. Story events also allow you to interact with friends in your neighborhood through activities such as water battles or forest adventures.
