The key mechanic is the strategic placement of tiles to form different environments, from pristine natural biomes to urban settlements needed for a reborn humanity.
Such actions further the narrative of Nekokami - The Human Restoration Project, which focuses on the dynamics between the ruling felines and humans, restored after a long period of extinction. Each new star system offers unique rules and conditions, requiring adaptation to successfully develop territories. Progress is not limited to just construction, requiring interaction with the fundamental forces of the universe through entities called Kami.
