By making decisions in branching dialogues, you can directly influence the development of the plot and its central conflicts, thereby shaping the further course of the narrative. The story of Nexus Defenders follows a newly minted captain tasked with protecting the planet after the Spinal Nexus is suddenly compromised. Interaction takes place using the virtual assistant Echo version 313 and during communication with a character named Astraea. The dialogue system in this game is designed to promote the personal growth of the protagonist.

The gameplay of this project is structured in two main modes. The linear story campaign invites you to follow a central narrative, while the endless Survival challenges the gamer with ever-increasing difficulty until the complete destruction of the base.
