Game Description
NINJA GAIDEN 4 takes place in near-future Tokyo, where an eternal miasma hangs over the city after the awakening of an ancient enemy. This anomalous haze envelops entire neighborhoods, turning them into hunting grounds for monsters. The survival of the metropolis now depends on a young prodigy ninja named Yakumo. He must navigate the streets, fighting his way through legions of cybersoldiers equipped with futuristic weapons and otherworldly creatures from another world.
The gameplay forces Yakumo to accept a common destiny with the legendary figure Ryu Hayabusa, whose legacy is directly linked to current events. The main task is to rid Tokyo of the ancient curse that has paralyzed life in the city and threatens its complete destruction. NINJA GAIDEN 4’s combat requires precision and strategic timing to defeat your enemies by methodically dismembering them as a central element of the mechanics. Players have access to the Bloodbind Ninjutsu function to temporarily transform weapons, which strengthens them and gives them access to new types of attacks to deal damage.
Classic series moves like the Izuna Drop and Flying Swallow return, offering ways to control and eliminate opponents with drop grabs and fast blade dashes. Ryu Hayabusa also appears with a familiar but modified set of skills. The fights test reactions and the ability to find gaps in the opponent’s defenses, resulting in naturalistic limbs and heads being torn from their bodies. The project also offers settings that allow you to change the intensity of collisions for different skill levels.
