Game Description
Nitroglycerine! is a test where the main task is to transport a deadly substance along difficult routes. The process of controlling a heavy tractor is subject to the laws of realistic physics, and the vehicle itself is completely unsuitable for overcoming obstacles along the way. Any mistake in piloting, sharp turn or collision can lead to the detonation of nitroglycerin and instant failure of the mission. Even climbing moderately steep slopes requires precise timing, and putting too much pressure on the engine via turbocharging risks stalling the engine.
Set in a world full of despair, where every short but intense session becomes a test of strength, and successful delivery of the cargo is the only ticket to freedom. Navigation in Nitroglycerine! is carried out using a primitive map, and only 3 attempts are given for the entire journey, where gas stations act as control points.
Obstacles and dangers along the way:
Driving on dilapidated wooden bridges with the risk of collapse. Passing narrow mountain serpentines on the edge of an abyss. Maneuvering between boulders blocking the passage. Driving along cliffs crumbling under the wheels with an unstable surface. Response to sudden landslides that change the landscape. Overcoming steep slopes with the need to accurately calculate traction. Monitoring engine temperature when using turbocharging. Crossing water obstacles taking into account the inertia of heavy transport.
