Obscured Stories: The Resentment is a psychological horror, the narrative of which is based on the interrogation of the main character by the police. During an interview with investigators, Lisa Parker relives the events of a fateful night that happened while she was in Japan in the early 2000s. Reconstructing a complete picture of the incident is complicated by the fragmentation of memories, presented in the form of fragments of audio recordings and video materials. The truth remains unattainable, and the ambiguity of what is happening only intensifies the oppressive feeling of fear. The ending of the story directly depends on the decisions made at key moments in the narrative.
As an international student, Lisa works part-time at a SpinFuel gas station, and her daily routine consists of routine duties. The usual way of life is gradually replaced by a growing feeling of anxiety. The cause of concern in Obscured Stories: The Resentment is a mysterious man who repeatedly appears near the girl’s place of work. The atmosphere of suspense is achieved not by dynamic scenes, but by a combination of depressing factors that force you to carefully study the environment:
