Game Description

Outbreak: Shades of Horror is a co-op survival horror game set in 1999 in the chaos of Cypress Ridge. A growing epidemic turns residents into bloodthirsty creatures driven only by hunger. The success of the enterprise depends on the careful management of limited inventory and the competent distribution of found supplies. To move through dilapidated streets and buildings, you need to use your wits, study scattered notes and find alternative routes. The passage process is available in both first and third person views, with the ability to change perspective at any time. The ravenous infected pose a constant threat, attacking from all sides, and a fallen comrade risks joining the ranks of the enemy.

To confront the nightmare, you are invited to choose one of more than 30 unique characters, each of which has its own starting sets, abilities and features. The central location is Cypress Reel - a safe hub where you can take a break alone or with friends. This is where preparation for sorties takes place, including choosing skills and changing appearance. In addition, Outbreak: Shades of Horror provides several scenarios to play through.

Options for countering the epidemic:

Campaign mode - narrative scenarios with an open ending, covering the story of the city’s fall to the onslaught of the undead. Invasion mode - defending an outpost from waves of enemies using built fortifications, turrets and traps. Raid mode - intense linear missions with extremely limited resources, where the main goal is to reach the extraction point.
