Building a variety of starships helps you achieve your goals and opens up access to new technologies to improve your base. Activities can be expanded to several planets for the sake of access to rare materials, which will require the creation of interconnected bases through their proper placement. Wormholes facilitate communication between distant objects, forming interstellar supply networks to move materials between different locations in the system.
