“Paper Pirates” offers gameplay in the spirit of club and board games like “Mafia”, where participants try to secretly achieve their goals and determine the roles of everyone else. The action takes place on a pirate ship. The captain forms a team of those he can trust. However, group members themselves decide whether to obey him or not.
Corsairs face events on a daily basis. They are selected randomly from a list of 60 events. There are still ghosts on board that pretend to be alive. People are trying to return to shore, and spirits are trying to secretly throw all the treasures out of the ship. Approaching transport to land is possible only with complete unanimity of all those present. At the end of each day there is a vote. As a result, one of the characters is thrown to feed the fish. The point is to clear the ranks of traitors. If the killed sailor turns out to be innocent, then he can return to the gameplay as a restless spirit or a simple passenger. Each side, including the leader, tries to secretly accomplish its goals and interfere with its rivals. As you progress, all users participating in matches earn coins. This in-game currency is spent on purchasing cosmetic items to customize heroes and the ship itself.
