Game Description

Pieces of me begins with Grisha’s return to his hometown in 2009. He is going to visit his younger sister, but does not find her or any signs of his usual life on the spot. The streets look familiar, but there is no movement in them. There is silence all around and rare traces, as if someone left them on purpose, trying to convey something. The school building, in which the most difficult and memorable years passed, is greeted with the absence of sounds and a strange feeling, as if something was left unfinished here.

As soon as he crosses the threshold, memories begin to manifest and interfere with the present. Pieces of me turns into an inward journey - an experience in which the gamer has to not so much explore space as make his way through his own past. Every room, every turn resonates with something personal. The atmosphere is not based on dialogue, but on the feeling of an approaching collision with what has been repressed. Everything that happens seems to emerge from memory, coming to life as we move forward.

This project raises topics that are rarely talked about directly: loss, pain, worn-out experiences. Plot elements are not explained directly - they are gathered through actions and hints. Things fall into place not according to logic, but according to the internal state of the hero. This interactive thriller doesn’t separate the past from the present—it stitches them together. In order to move on, the player will have to not just remember, but go through again what was left behind long ago.
