PLAGUN – The Plague Goes On is a dark world of a fallen kingdom, destroyed by a failed immortality vaccine and turned into an arena for survival. Instead of healing, civilization received an endless plague that gave birth to regenerating horrors. In this setting, a former doctor, now a monster in a mask, will have to fight back the endless hordes of the infected. His task is not just to survive, but also to uncover the dark secret behind the disaster that destroyed everything around him. Each foray becomes a step towards understanding the causes of global decay and betrayal.

Cursed masks in the form of animal skulls not only change characteristics, but also impart passive abilities, radically influencing the style of play. The arsenal is represented by biomechanical weapons that fire plague-infected projectiles with a variety of effects. The gameplay of PLAGUN – The Plague Goes On is built around short but intense sessions, each lasting no more than 20 minutes. Progression between runs is achieved by collecting the remains of defeated enemies, allowing you to unlock new gear and meta upgrades for future attempts.

This action game combines elements of intense platforming and bullet-hell mechanics with automatic shooting. The visual style emphasizes the oppressive atmosphere with pixelated graphics and a limited color palette of black, white, red and sickly green. The history of the fallen world is presented in fragments, through the environment and mysterious records, gradually emerging into a single picture. Survival in such conditions requires sharp reflexes and the ability to quickly adapt to constantly changing threats, including bosses with personal ties to the protagonist’s past.
