Pocket Gecko is about the relaxing experience of collecting and caring for a personal virtual companion. The central figure of the entire adventure is the cute gecko, whose appearance can be customized in detail to reflect his own personality. You are allowed to contact this lizard at any time, simply by observing its lively and natural movements on the screen. Gradually, the pet becomes not just a tool, but a real partner. Success in collecting insects directly affects the environment: the islands, initially simple, begin to be filled with new details and literally bloom, demonstrating the collector’s achievements.

The key mechanics of the project is to search and capture more than 80 species of insects living on the territory of 4 distinctive islands. Each captured individual represents a strategic resource. The gameplay of Pocket Gecko offers a dilemma: you can sell your catch in order to use the proceeds to purchase improvements for your inventory, or you can keep some of the bugs for yourself. Saving certain species unlocks special bonuses that passively make it easier to hunt for rare specimens. In turn, modernizing equipment makes the capture process more efficient and allows you to get to the most valuable creatures.
