Prisoners Of The Ephemeral Kingdom is the story of an ancient Chinese ritual known as the Feather Burning Ritual, during which the line between the worlds of the living and the dead begins to rapidly blur. Fourteen strangers from different parts of the world receive a mysterious invitation to the secluded Mayfly Estate. As night falls, the atmosphere of mistrust and anxiety grows, as the dead return and the living lose their bearings. Guests will have to find out who the organizer of this event is, what the true purpose of the ceremony is and what terrible secret has been kept for more than two thousand years. A blood-soaked spectacle spanning entire eras unfolds unnoticed before them.
