Game Description
Prologue: Go Wayback! is a brutal survival simulator in which players will have to guide a heroine named Lucy through tens of kilometers of wilderness. The main objective is to reach a remote weather tower located on the opposite end of the map. The path is complicated not only by changeable weather conditions, but also by the need to navigate in space without modern navigation aids.
The action takes place over a vast area of 64 square kilometers, generated for each new playthrough using machine learning technology. Thanks to this approach, every journey in Prologue: Go Wayback! offers unique terrain and new challenges. The world appears absolutely lifeless: there are no animals or other people here, which reinforces the oppressive feeling of complete loneliness in the middle of pristine nature.
Survival requires constant monitoring of hunger, thirst and, most importantly, body temperature. A complex system for starting a fire has been implemented, requiring the collection of tinder and fuel, and any suitable objects from the environment can be used as fuel. Abandoned forest houses serve as temporary shelter from bad weather, which, however, do not guarantee complete safety without proper preparation.
Weather events, including rain, snow, and strong winds, directly affect the character’s condition and the environment, such as making objects wet and making them more difficult to ignite. Navigation is carried out exclusively with the help of a map and compass, forcing you to carefully study the terrain and landmarks to plot your route. Overcoming slippery slopes and snowy plains becomes a real test of strength in this merciless world.
