Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is a simulator of a quarantine post employee, where the player is responsible for making fateful decisions in a zombie apocalypse. The screening process for arriving refugees requires meticulousness to look for warning signs, from coughs and suspicious wounds to abnormal pulses and greenish tints to the skin. Based on the diagnosis, a verdict is made: allow the survivor into the camp, isolate for observation, or immediately liquidate. Each choice has fatal consequences, since a mistake can cost the life of the entire shelter. In addition to working at the checkpoint, you will have to manage the camp’s resources, distributing food, medicine and electricity. As darkness falls, routine duties are replaced by the need to defend the perimeter from attacks by the infected.

Diagnosis of arrivals - use of x-ray, reflex hammer and methiascope to identify signs of infection. Camp management - control the distribution of food, medicine, energy and places to accommodate survivors. Perimeter defense - repelling night attacks of the infected using stationary weapons, drones and automatic turrets. Research activity - studying freshly turned zombies in a special cage to obtain samples and develop improvements.

Attacks from the infected become more intense over time, and opponents demonstrate new tactics, including attacks from rooftops. Survival in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is complicated not only by external threats, but also by internal problems, because resources are strictly limited. Gradually, the narrative reveals hints of a government conspiracy involving secret experiments and rigged evacuations. The project poses a complex moral question for gamers about preserving humanity when bureaucratic instructions become a tool that determines life and death.
