Ragnar is a roguelike game set in Norse mythology, where the main goal is to confront the god of deception Loki and his attempt to change the fate of Ragnarok. A system of dynamic progression and permanent improvements allows you to become more powerful with each new foray into changing worlds. You can combine divine blessings, abilities, and legendary weapons to create your own fighting style. For example, you can combine the power of Tyr’s Spear of Justice with Freya’s Phantom Ambush, forming unique tactical combinations to crush your enemies. Traveling through the worlds involves choosing your own path, which directly determines the complexity of the upcoming tests and the value of the rewards received. Each trip opens up new routes and mysterious dungeons, branching out from the world tree Yggdrasil.
Wanderings take place across nine worlds, from majestic palaces to gloomy and dangerous depths. Each kingdom is filled with a unique atmosphere and dangers, be it icy labyrinths or enchanted forests. During the adventure you will have to enlist the help of such familiar characters as Thor, Freya, Heimdall and Eitri. Interaction with allies in Ragnar directly affects the development of the saga, placing the hero at the very center of unfolding events. It is their help that will become a support in the fight against legendary opponents and giants released into freedom. The main goal is to confront the chaos that Loki unleashed on the worlds and overthrow him from his throne in order to become a light in the darkest days of Norse mythology.
