Game Description
The creatures of Ratatan begin a journey together to a place called The Everafter. According to legend, the Goddess lives in this distant land, and meeting her has become a common goal for all the bestial inhabitants of the island. Despite their differences in appearance and character, they are united by this desire. The heroes set out on a journey from their busy home, prepared for numerous attempts and failures on the way to their dream, which they will never give up.
The path to the Goddess: what awaits the heroes:
Control an army of kobun followers using rhythmic commands. Large-scale battles where more than 100 characters participate simultaneously. Strategic positioning for attack and tactical retreat. Lots of attempts to get to the goal within a roguelike structure.
Giving orders in Ratatan occurs through the input of rhythmic commands that control an army of kobun followers. The player freely moves the main character, which makes position selection a key element of the gameplay. Deciding where to attack, when to engage, or when to retreat requires constant tactical assessment of the situation. The battles unfold as large-scale battles, where more than 100 characters can be on the screen at the same time, creating the feeling of a large conflict.
The entire game is a side-scrolling action game with roguelike elements. You can go on an adventure alone, or with up to 4 people in an online co-op. This structure emphasizes the idea of persistence, as each run is a new attempt to get closer to The Everafter. The gameplay combines rhythmic command of units, free movement of the hero and massive battles in its development system.
