Replicat is a card-based roguelike project that uses matchmaking mechanics at the core of its gameplay, complemented by deck-building elements. Instead of relying solely on memory, gamers are given the opportunity to be strategic about the process of memorization. Success here depends not so much on the ability to remember the location of all the tiles, but on well-structured tactics and effective use of cards. The atmosphere is created by charming cat characters and jazzy musical accompaniment, turning each game into a cozy but thoughtful adventure.
More than 90 cards with a variety of effects are available to form unique strategies, allowing you to change the rules right during the game. In addition, Replicat’s gameplay is significantly influenced by over 80 special curiosities that can turn mistakes into new opportunities. Procedural level generation and random modifiers ensure that each new attempt will be radically different from the previous one, offering fresh challenges and combinations to master.
The structure of the passage includes 21 levels with increasing difficulty, as well as battles with unique bosses that make their own adjustments to the rules. Starting with one of 10 starting decks, each offering a different style, players gradually earn experience. This experience is used to unlock new cards and sets, expanding tactical options and increasing replayability of the project, offering both relaxed sessions and intense challenges.
