Game Description

Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth title in the survival horror series, its name stylized as Re9uiem to indicate its numbered place in the sequence. This project continues the RE Village storyline while opening a new chapter for the franchise. The game introduces Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst who is the central character and the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft, a journalist from Resident Evil: Outbreak.

Resident Evil Requiem begins with Grace investigating a series of mysterious deaths attributed to a disease that forces her to confront her personal past. The investigation directs the main character to a hotel on the territory of Raccoon City, to the place where her mother was killed 8 years before the events of the title. Players will have to guide the heroine through sections of a destroyed metropolis - a setting that was absent from the series for many years after its destruction by thermonuclear weapons.

Although the ruins of a police station are visible, Raccoon City is not the setting. The plot also traps Grace in a mysterious mansion, an isolated space with its own dangers. The girl’s main goal is to uncover the truth about her mother’s death, and this personal task moves events forward. Her search leads her to the trail of new threats. As the story progresses, the protagonist becomes a target for mutants, forcing her to change her role as an investigator to that of a survivor. The narrative is designed to expand the established mythology of the franchise and introduce significant events, the consequences of which will affect the entire game universe.
