Riddlewood Manor is an adventure where the walls of a gothic mansion hide dark secrets and eccentric inhabitants. In its quaint halls you can meet an unusual dragon or feed an eternally hungry chicken, but not all its inhabitants are friendly. The sinister laughter of a possessed doll named Susie echoes through the dark corridors, and ghosts and evil spirits are constantly trying to destroy anyone who dares to disturb their peace. Every step in this mysterious place is a mortal danger, where sudden creaks and slamming doors become harbingers of trouble.
The main task is to cleanse the cursed estate from evil, which requires unraveling the tragic history of the Riddlewood family. To do this, you have to solve many puzzles scattered throughout the rooms of the mansion. Challenges include preparing breakfast from highly questionable ingredients, such as pork parts, or assembling a Ouija board from found clues. Completing these quests gradually brings you closer to understanding the fate that befell the former owners of the house. The gameplay of Riddlewood Manor is based on point-and-click mechanics, where exploration of locations is combined with solving problems in the style of quest rooms.
Stylistically, the project balances between creepy moments and absurd humor, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of supernatural cartoons. This journey through a haunted house offers not only frightening scenes, but also comedic situations that arise when interacting with its strange characters.
