Game Description
RollerCoaster Tycoon is a tycoon game in which you need to build an amusement park. The player is invited to follow a chain of tasks, building new attractions and improving the infrastructure of the park. There are dozens of roller coasters, log whirlpools, carousels, bumper cars, scare rooms, go-karts, Ferris wheels, ships and many other attractions to choose from.
To maintain the life of the park, it is necessary to hire staff, among them:
cleaners - sweep areas, collect garbage, mow lawns, etc.; mechanics - repair rides that break down due to frequent use; security guards - keep order, catch hooligans and punish vandalism; artists - entertain visitors with music or magic tricks.
To improve the park, RollerCoaster Tycoon allows you to not only install decorative items, including flowers and various vegetation, but also influence the terrain, allowing you to adapt the park to your needs by adding rocky terrain or more water. Therefore, benches should be placed so that children and adults can rest, think about needs such as going to the toilet, and provide snack bars and restaurants where guests can get plenty of food.
When designing new structures, you can adjust every aspect of the device, setting the speed, angle of inclination, height, etc. Parts can include options such as zero rolls, corkscrews, vertical hinges and many others. There are a total of 21 missions in the game. 5 of them are available at the start, the rest open as certain conditions are met. If you successfully complete all tests, a bonus Mega Park will open. It has a huge area and contains all the objects available in the game. It is a “sandbox” mode, where there are no frames or restrictions. Some parks in the game, for example “Katie’s Dreamland”, have a real-life prototype of Lightwater Valley.
