Heroes choose equipment from the available arsenal, assessing the characteristics of each item before skirmishing with opponents. Any fight provides an opportunity to collect materials from defeated monsters; these resources are used to strengthen weapons, improve equipment at the forge, or make offerings to a divine statue for additional bonuses.
