Game Description
Schematic Void is a meta-adventure that asks you to take on an unusual mission to complete someone else’s half-finished project. Here the fourth wall is completely broken, and the creator’s unfinished notes are turned into tools for advancement. Interface elements become part of the puzzles, and the rules are constantly rewritten as you progress. Solutions require not so much technical knowledge as ingenuity and innovative thinking, because the logic of the world is subject to its own, very bizarre laws. The goal is to bring someone else’s creation to life, using the most unexpected methods.
Taking on the role of a developer, gamers will have to solve puzzles centered around electrical circuits. However, the fundamental principle of Schematic Void is to be as close to a real electrical circuit as possible. Circuit boards and wires serve only as a playground for puzzles that encourage curiosity and trickery. Instead of following strict instructions, you need to experiment and find non-obvious connections between objects. The world is filled not only with technical elements, but also with completely unexpected characters, including pets, princesses and even a unicorn.
The project is distinguished by its stylish minimalistic visuals, where two-dimensional graphics at times create the illusion of three-dimensional space. The art, done in a warm palette, creates a feeling of comfort and handicraft, and expressive animation emphasizes the mood of each scene. The atmosphere is complemented by a soundtrack that evokes a wide range of emotions - from melancholy to inspiration. The non-linear structure allows you to return to previously completed levels in order to use new tools and capabilities that are discovered as you progress.
