Game Description
SCOOTX represents a scooter simulation, where each component is 100 percent controlled by physics. All actions on the screen, from wheels to the head of the rider, determines the central physical engine. Pressing buttons triggers are launched by the animations of the tricks, however, the final movement is calculated by the base system, based on the laws of physics. Any graind, VIP or collision with the surface cause a reaction based on applied strength.
The game models the mechanics of the scooter without pre -set outcomes, concentrating on the interaction of forces. Once on the map, the player begins to skate and study the environment. The gameplay in SCOOTX pushes to search for trajectories, execution of tricks and spots in a free manner. Both skate parks and city street spots are available for skiing. In addition, this project supports the map and materials created by the community due to integration with Mod.io.
This approach expands the number of available zones, offering the experience of the sandbox, formed by the direct involvement of the gamer. The gameplay is based on the concept of flow and personal experiments with mechanics. Progress is achieved naturally through prolonged races and as the control and behavior of the scooter. There are no set goals or certain methods of interaction at the levels. The design gives priority to the freedom of arrivals on spots and the discovery of available maneuvers. The main activity lies in the appearance on the location and performance of tricks on the initiative of the player himself.
