Game Description
Service with a Shotgun plunges you into an absurd reality where retail rules apply even during a zombie apocalypse. The main task becomes not only survival among the hordes of the undead, but also high-quality service to the eccentric customers lining up at the half-empty shelves. While the living dead are wandering outside the window, a real drama is unfolding inside the store: you need to speak quickly, shoot accurately and build defensive structures in order to survive the next work shift. This crazy balance between running a business and shooting zombies creates a unique atmosphere of dark humor and constant tension, turning the end of the world into the worst day in the service industry.
The protagonist is given the unenviable role of the last roadside store manager on the planet, forced to maintain a flickering “Open” sign. Service With a Shotgun’s visual novel narrative is intertwined with the intense shooting of incoming waves of enemies. The entire gameplay is divided into five story chapters, where each subsequent shift increases the chaos, throwing up new challenges and unexpected turns. As you progress, the madness only grows, forcing you to simultaneously deal with the requests of customers and fight off the attacks of the hungry dead, who are also not averse to looking at the light.
Each chapter introduces new characters, the total number of which exceeds ten colorful personalities. From quirky regulars to desperate survivors, these encounters make every visit to the store completely unpredictable. It’s the dialogue and interactions with these crazy customers that reveal a satirical look at capitalism that refuses to die even when everyone around it is long dead. In this world, the apocalypse does not wait, but buyers, as we know, do not like to wait, demanding attention here and now.
