Game Description
Session Notes: Route 404, a first-person psychological survival horror game, follows the story of a former bus steward. His attempt to return to normal life turns into a nightmare journey, where the line between reality and illusion is erased forever. The protagonist will have to fulfill his direct responsibilities: serve passengers, solve their problems and monitor the condition of transport. However, every action takes place under the yoke of the past, because the trauma experienced constantly distorts the perception of the world around us, turning an ordinary trip into a surreal thriller with several possible endings.
At the center of the story is a man striving to recover from a terrible accident that has changed him forever. The decision to hit the trail again was a chance for him to start over and find peace. But it is this trip in Session Notes: Route 404 that becomes a trap for his consciousness. Instead of the long-awaited healing, the hero faces inner demons and dark memories that take on physical embodiment. The atmosphere of oppressive tension is enhanced by mysterious events and oppressive soundtrack, forcing you to doubt what is happening.
Signs of impending madness:
Sudden shutdown of lighting in the bus interior for no apparent reason. An overly intent and anxious gaze from one of the passengers. Strange sounds from the luggage compartment, awakening forgotten memories. A constant feeling of an invisible presence that can appear anywhere.
